We - a family of four - found a good understanding of our interests and our wishes were fulfilled. We were on a hike through the vineyards, where all of our questions were answered and our guide, Walter Schönleber, in a very interesting and vivid way explained about the historical places we passed. Nature, culture, past and present was woven together in an exciting and relevant way. Also worth a visit - with the same guide - the monastery Eberbach, was a great experience. During a tour of the beautiful surroundings we got insight into monastic life, the abbey 's history and the more recent report on how the monastery was the setting for much of the filming of the movie "Name of the Rose".
